11.11.2025 - 30.11.2025 (Week 8 - Week 10) Vanessa Kei Kurniadi / 0360525 Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Sonic Design - Project 3: Audio Storytelling PROJECT 3 - Audio Storytelling In this project, we were tasked with creating a voiceover for a story, whether a book or a movie, and adding the necessary sound effects to support it. We don't have to constantly put the sounds. Just enough to make the story more immersive. Some musics are allowed but not used throughout the whole audio, and to make sure that the music doesn't overpower the rest of the important sounds. 1. CHOOSING A STORY For this project, I decided to take the first pages of the story "The Ugly Duckling" from archive.org  (a free site, but a login is required). The reason for choosing it is that I can imagine that the amount of sounds I can add based on the story narrative would be balanced enough, not too much, and not too quiet. 21.10.2025 - 4.11.2025 (Week 5 - Week 7) Vanessa Kei Kurniadi / 0360525 Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Sonic Design - Project 2: Auditory Imaging TASK 1 - PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER EXERCISE In this task, we are to create a scenario using sounds that we can get from the internet. FEEDBACK Week 5 Always make a copy of the audio file before modifying it from the waveform. Week 6 The planned scenario is more cinematic, so I will need to figure out how to explain everything in sound because there will be no visual help Week 7 Don't forget to put the hard limiter in the mix. Accumulation of all the limited audio will still give more volume than all at once. Can try to change the "game" song to something else, because right now it feels more like a cartoon/movie song.
