22.9.2025 - 19.10.2025 (Week 1 - Week 4) Vanessa Kei Kurniadi / 0360525 Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Sonic Design - Project 3: Audio Storytelling PROJECT 3 - Audio Storytelling FEEDBACK Week 9 - Select white noise, Effect > Noise Reduction > Capture Noise Print - Select all noise, Effect > Noise Reduction > Noise Reduction (Process) - Use Effect > Amplitude > Dynamic, use Autogate and Compressor to remove spikes and breathing noise - Use Parametric Equaliser to refine further - Use Deesser to slightly suppress the "S" noise - Lastly, use Hard Limiter to make sure there is no clipping - The audio effect can be used in the effect rack. If used straight in the audio wave, it will be applied straight away. - The voiceover sounds a bit muddy. Week 10 - The voiceover is already done nicely - It's still too quiet, the range should be -9 to -12 dB - Can add some music to the background. 21.10.2025 - 4.11.2025 (Week 5 - Week 7) Vanessa Kei Kurniadi / 0360525 Bachelor of Design (Hons) in Creative Media Sonic Design - Project 2: Auditory Imaging TASK 1 - PARAMETRIC EQUALIZER EXERCISE In this task, we are to create a scenario using sounds that we can get from the internet. FEEDBACK Week 5 Always make a copy of the audio file before modifying it from the waveform. Week 6 The planned scenario is more cinematic, so I will need to figure out how to explain everything in sound because there will be no visual help Week 7 Don't forget to put the hard limiter in the mix. Accumulation of all the limited audio will still give more volume than all at once. Can try to change the "game" song to something else, because right now it feels more like a cartoon/movie song.
