Project 2: Jumping Animation

fig 1.1 Instruction

This time our task is to make a single jump animation, which is moving forward instead of just jumping in place this time. Sir Kamal also mentioned making the jump a bit more exaggerated to make it more cartoonish.

Other than that note, I honestly didn't make much of a difference from the ones I did in the walking animations. I just used the extremes in the animator survival kit as a guide and then applied all my keys there.

I inserted all the extremes and then when I checked, as expected I noticed some bones move a bit weirdly.

REFLECTION

Experience
The jumping animation gives me a little spice-up to the challenge, but it is ultimately still not too hard, and I enjoyed the process. The fixing increased a little bit compared to the last one, but the one thing I'm really proud of is that I made the whole animation in

Observation
I think from what I see, most of my teammates are also pretty good at these, and there are only minor revisions in most of the checked work. I'm really glad that everyone seems to be able to follow the process well.

Findings
I haven't really found out why the poses made those weird pose bugs which we need to fix, but I'm also glad they're not that hard to fix. I just need to make another keyframe in that messed up ones to override the broken ones.
